OPGC Announces Recruitment of Engineers/Officers Through GATE 2015

Position and Eligibility: Engineering Executive Trainees

• Candidates must have completed a full time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates must have qualified in GATE 2015
• Candidates currently studying in final semester/ final year of B.E./B.Tech appearing in final semester/final year examination in the month of May/June, 2015 are also eligible to apply. However, if selected they must be in a position to submit their final mark sheet by August 31, 2015

Age Limit: 25 years as on January 1, 2015

Selection process:  on the basis of GATE 2015 scores followed by a personal interview.


Emoluments/ Pay Package:

• Candidates selected will be placed in ET Grade during the training period for one year and on successful completion of training will be placed in E1 grade of MBS (Market Based Salary) as Assistant Managers.
• During the training period they will receive a CTC of 4.50 LPA.
• The selected candidates posted at plant site will also be provided with bachelor accommodation, apart from other perks and benefits as applicable.
• During the training period of one year the trainee may be terminated in case  his/her performance is not found satisfactory.  

Service Agreement Bond: The selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs 2, 50, 000/- to serve the Company for at least 3 years from the date of their regularisation in OPGC

• Photo,
• Signature,
• Date of birth proof (10th certificate),
• Gate 2015 admit card which is mandatory for all.
• Valid Caste Certificate for SC/ST/ OBC Non Creamycandidates
• PWD Certificate for PWD candidates

• Candidates may note that there are two stages for the Online Application  Process as mentioned below

Stage 1: The online registration application form contains 4 sections respectively: (from January 1 to 31, 2015)

• Section A: Personal, Engineering degree, Gate exam details (mandatory), and communication information.
• Section B: Education Details starting from Class 10th onwards.
• Section C: Work experience (if any)
• Section D: Uploading required document details i.e. Photo, Signature, Date of birth proof (10th certificate), Gate 2015 admit card which is mandatory for all.

Note: Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ OBC Non Creamy & PWD categories will need to Upload valid caste and PWD Certificates respectively as per the format prescribed by Govt. of India.
To submit, candidates have to click the Finish button and the registration process is completed once the OPGC registration number is generated
The OPGC registration number will also be sent to the registered email id of the candidates

OPGC Registration No Not generated?
Applicants must login using their registered Email ID and date of birth (as filled in Section A) and complete the registration process again.
Donot go in for a new registration
Stage 2:  (from April 1 to 15, 2015)
Candidates have to upload their GATE score
After online submission of the GATE 2015 Marks, candidates have to send a printout of the copy of the submitted OPGC application form through “SPEED POST/COURIER/POST” along with the following
A copy of GATE-2015 admit card
A copy of the GATE Score Card
SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD Certificate (if applicable)
The Envelope must be superscribed with “Application for ET” and “name of Post” (i.e. Mechanical/Electrical etc.)
The Envelope with the Application and enclosures must be sent by April 30, 2015 to

• Submission of online GATE 2015 application: September 1 – October 14 , 2014
• Start of online application module : January 1, 2015

• Upload of GATE Scores and other GATE related details: April 1 to 15, 2015
