BPCL Announces Recruitment of Engineers/Officers Through GATE 2015

Organization: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL)

Position: Graduate Trainees in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, and Instrumentation Engineering

Selection process:  on the basis of GATE /2014 or GATE 2015 scores followed by group discussions and a personal interview.

Eligibility:
  • Candidates should have passed Full time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) through AICTE/UGC approved Indian Universities / Institutes.
  • They must have passed the qualifying exam in the first attempt.
  • Candidates who have done Integrated courses or courses with 5 years or more duration are not eligible
  • Candidates (belonging to General and OBC-NC category) should have secured minimum 60% marks in qualifying degree examinations. It is relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • Candidates currently in final year of their engineering studies may also apply. However, if selected, they must be in a position to submit their final mark sheet by August 31, 2015. At the time of applying Candidates (belonging to General and OBCNC category) should have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks upto last semester examinations. It is relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Age: not more than 25 years as on June 1, 2015 (28 for OBC Candidates & 30 for SC/ST Candidates)

How to apply:
  • On receipt of GATE 2015 Registration number (available on the GATE 2014 Admit Card), the candidates need to apply to BPCL on-line. Apply Below on this page
  • After submission of the BPCL Online Application, a unique BPCL Application ID along with the completed Application Forms will be generated.
  • After successfully submitting the online application, candidates will receive an e-mail with the Login details and the completed application form enclosed as a PDF file.
  • Login id will be the e-mail id and password will be the GATE 2015 Registration Number.
  • Candidates should safe keep the Login id and password for future reference.
  • Candidates have to take a printout of the completed form, affix a recent photograph in the space provided and sign in the designated place. Click here to print the form (link will be provided later)
  • If selected for the interview, candidates are required to furnish copies of their GATE 2015 Score Card, GATE 2015 Admit Card along with the BPCL Online Application Form
  • The photographs in the BPCL application must be identical to the one used in the GATE 2015 Application and Admit Card
Work Profile:
  • Selected candidates will be on probation for one year and will be in the Job Group “A” to be confirmed as “Executive” after the probation period is over
  • They may be posted in any of the company locations and will have to undertake shift duties
Emoluments:
  • Candidates will be placed in the Scale of Pay 24,900–50,500 with additional emoluments like DA, HRA etc
  • The cost to company per annum would be 10.5 lakhs.

JEE Main 2020 Exam is a National level entrance exam and conducted by the National Testing Agency. JEE Main Admit Card or Hall Ticket will be released on 06 December 2019.
