Important:
1. Graduate in Petroleum Engineering / Applied Petroleum Engineering are eligible to apply for different advertised posts. Candidates of Petroleum Engineering / Applied Petroleum Engineering can apply to the posts in ONGC if they appear for the following papers in GATE 2015

• Mechanical Engineering
• Engineering Sciences
• Chemical Engineering

2. For the post of Transport Officer, candidates with a degree in Auto Engineering is one of the accepted qualifications. Since, Auto Engineering is not one of the subjects in GATE-2015, the candidates of Auto Engineering qualification are required to appear in Mechanical Engineering (ME) paper only fir GATE 2015.

Selection process: on the basis of GATE score 2015 followed by Personal Interview. Candidates have to qualify in GATE 2015 and clear the personal interview to be considered for recruitment.
Department candidates (ONGC) will be given preference over the other candidates

Recruitment will be on the basis of the final Merit List computed as follows:

Work Profile:

• Selected candidates will be joining the organization as Class 1 executives in the  “E-1” grade

Emoluments:

• Candidates will be placed in the Scale of Pay 24,900–50,500 with an increment of 3% per year and  additional emoluments like DA, HRA etc
