Eligibility:
- Candidates should have passed qualifying degree examinations and awarded bachelor’s degree in engineering/ technology as mentioned below (full time regular courses only)
- Candidates, belonging to General and OBC (non- creamy layer) categories, should have secured minimum 65% marks in qualifying degree examinations. (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates)

For Engineering: not more than 26 years as on June 30, 2015 (relaxation as per rules).
For Geology & Geophysics: not more than 28 years as on June 30, 2015 (relaxation as per rules).
Note: Relaxation as per norms
Salary: The starting basic pay scale will be Rs 24,900 per month with other amenities and remuneration as per the rules of the company.
The Cost to company will be 11 lakhs inclusive of Performance Related Pay
Service Bond: A service bond for Rs 3,00,000 (Rs 50,000 for SC/ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates) will have to signed by the selected candidates to serve IOCL for a period of Three years from joining.

- On receipt of GATE 2015 Registration number, the candidates can to apply below on this page.
- After submission of the Indian Oil Online Application, a unique Application ID along with the completed Application Forms will be generated.
- Candidates have to take a printout, affix a recent photograph in the space provided and sign in the designated place.
- If selected for the interview, candidates are required to furnish copies of their GATE 2015 Application Form, GATE 2015 Admit Card and the printout of the Indian Oil Online Application Form.
- The photographs in the Indian Oil application must be identical to the ones used in the GATE 2015 Application and GATE 2015 Admit Card
- Note: The name and details as furnished in the IOCL application Form should match the details in the GATE 2015 Application form.
